Rose married Henry Paul “Harry” McCaulley, the son of Thomas McCaulley and Mary Franklin.  Harry was born in Philadelphia on January 1, 1917 and baptized by Father J. S. Kelly at Saint Monica’s Catholic Church, Philadelphia on January 14, 1917.  His godparents were Gerald Franklin and Helen Franklin.  Harry was raised near Manheim Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Father William Haley married Rose and Harry at Holy Family Church Catholic Church, Philadelphia on September 11, 1943.  Sponsors for the ceremony were William McCaulley and Anna Godek.

Rose and Harry had three sons Robert, Harry and William.

Harry had been in much combat in the desert of North Africa in World War II.  As a child I remember frequent visits to their home on Ripka Street and there was always a piece of cake and cool drink of milk provided by Rose and intriguing war stories told by Harry.  Harry died December 13, 1983. Rose died at home, 464 Connaroe Street, Philadelphia at 9:19 p.m., August 18, 1983.  She was 69 years old.  The cause of death, according to Dr. N. E. Stahlheber of 5189 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, was acute myocardial infarction resultant from arteriolschorotic and hypertensive heart disease.  She was buried at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1983.

Note Descendants include her sons Robert, Harry and William McCaulley of Philadelphia and their children.  Rose was the daughter of Margaret Tinneny and Edward McKenna.
