John recently received an Outstanding PAC Test Award for his academic achievement and placement score in the state-wide PAC examination.  He was one of only 3 students in his class at Midway Elementary School, Kershaw County, South Carolina to receive the award.  John is the son of Pat and Shirley Tinneny of Cassatt, South Carolina and the great-great-great grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Ireland, Greenock Scotland & Philadelphia.
