Kyle Tinneny, son of Keith and Robin
Prowell Tinneny of Waxhaw, North Carolina, was
inducted into the Junior Beta Club at Parkwood
Middle School on November 15, 2022. Kyle is in the
8th grade at the school. The National Beta Club is
an organization for 4th through 12th grade students
in the United States. Its purpose is "to promote the
ideals of academic achievement, character,
leadership and service among elementary and
secondary school students.”
Kyle is the
grandson of John and Alice Hickey Tinneny
formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; great-grandson
of James and Margaret Casey Tinneny of Havertown,
Pennsylvania; great-great-grandson of
James and Gertrude Spence Tinneny Sr. of
Philadelphia and the great-great-great-grandson of
Patrick
“Yankee Pat” Tinneny of
Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his
wife Margaret Malloy.
