Danny Klebes and his grandson Logan Thieme were recently lauded for their participation in the Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations at the Brushton-Moira Central School in Brushton, New York. Danny read the book “Clever Tom and the Leprechaun.” Grandson Logan dressed up as a Leprechaun and sat with his grandfather as Danny read to the audience.

Following the reading Danny treated the audience to some traditional Irish music on the accordion and led the audience in a Saint Patrick’s Day parade around the entire library.

Danny, the great-grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Fermanagh, Ireland, surely got the Tinneny gene for music and theater passed down from his grandfather Patrick Tinneny of Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia.  His grandfather was well known for playing instruments and being in plays put at Holy Family Catholic Church hall in Philadelphia. Obviously the gene has been passed on to young Logan.
