Danny Klebes III
Back In Uniform

After
what in his words was “much thought and prayer”
Danny Klebes has entered the United States Army
National Guard. Dan, no stranger to the army and
combat had taken part in the Desert Storm 1 and was
on an outpost in the desert when that conflict broke
out. His account of the opening night of the battle
is on his entry in the “Tinnenys In Uniform” section
of this website. Following that enlistment he left
the Army, pursued a civilian career and married his
wife Amber, herself a member of the Army National
Guard. This August Dan went back into the Guard and
will serve as a Drill Instructor training new
enlistees and will probably regain his old rank of
sergeant soon. Danny is the great-great grandson of
Yankee Pat Tinneny
of Ireland, Greenock Scotland and
Philadelphia.
