October 2008 - Paul Tinneny took his granddaughter, Julia
Tinneny, to the final game of 2008 World Series in Philadelphia.
The game was called due to rain and continued on a second night.
That night Julia’s brother Max went with Paul. For the first
time since 1980 the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team won this
national championship. Julia is the great-great- great
granddaughter of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co.
Fermanagh, N. Ireland; Greenock, Scotland & Philadelphia. Paul
an avid fan and good ball player in his youth, regularly attends
the Phillies games and brings a grandchild with him to each of
the games
