Chris Tinneny and Major General Livingston

Chris Tinneny was introduced to Major General James E. Livingston, USMC (Ret.) by his grandfather, Richard J. “Rich” Tinneny, Chief Master Sergeant, USAF, (Ret.). General Livingston was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Captain for his heroic actions in combat in the Republic of Vietnam. Chris is the great-great-great grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia. Both Chris’s great grandfather, Private John Patrick Tinneny, USMC and General Livingston served in the 4th Marines but not at the same time.
