James Joseph Tinneny, the son of Donald and April
Tinneny of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, completed
the Sacrament of Confirmation, October 4, 2021 at
Saint Columbkill Catholic Church, Boyertown,
Pennsylvania. He took the Confirmation name of the
Irish Saint Dumphna. His sponsor was his Godfather
Sean Dowling. Coincidentally, James’s
great-grandfather’s name was also James Joseph
Tinneny.

the great-grandson of James
and Gertrude Spence Tinneny and
the great-great-grandson of Patrick “Yankee
Pat” Tinneny of
Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
