Bernadette Tinneny,
daughter of James and Mary Agnes Kenrick Tinneny of Roslea,
Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and Auckland, New
Zealand, received the sacrament of Confirmation at Saint
Tierney’s Catholic Church in Roslea on May 10, 1971. She
and her brother Francis were confirmed by Bishop
Mulligan in the same ceremony. Bernadette took
Helena as her Confirmation name.
Bernadette is
the grandaughter of
Francis and Margaret Coleman Tinneny of Roslea;
great-grandson of Francis and Annie Dolan Tinneny of
Belturbet Co. Cavan, Ireland and great-great-grandaughter of
Francis and
Ann Elliott Tinneny of Belturbet.
