Grace Tinneny, daughter of Donald and April Vogel
Tinneny of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, received the
sacrament of confirmation October 3, 2023 by Bishop
Alfred Schlert at Saint Columbkill Roman Catholic
Church, Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Grace chose the
confirmation name Luke after the first Christian
physician and patron saint of physicians and
surgeons. Her career goal in life is to be a
physician. Her cousin Emma Peck was her sponsor.
Grace
along with her sponsor Emma receiving the sacrament
from Bishop Schiert.
Grace is the granddaughter of Donald
F. and Elizabeth Bailer Tinneny,
the great-granddaughter of James
and Gertrude Spence Tinneny and
the great-great-granddaughter of Patrick “Yankee
Pat” Tinneny of
Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
