August 5, 2003 Ashley Persico the daughter of Donna Tinneny Persico received a scholarship to Saint Joseph’s University.  The scholarship program, a project organized originally by Ashley’s Uncle Gary Tinneny who was an Air Force veteran, was awarded by the Northwest Veteran’s Association of Philadelphia.  Funds for the scholarship are raised at the annual “Northwest Veterans/Saint Joseph's University Scholarship Golf Tournament in memory of Gary Tinneny.”
