Alex, a resident of San Clemente, California, has completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and French at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The commencement will be held June 13, 2010. Alex is the daughter of Jane Van Winkle McColgan and Thomas McColgan of Canyon Lake, California.  Alex is the great-great granddaughter of “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, N. Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia.
