OBITUARY

Francis M. Hart Sr.,

1918 -1987

Francis M. Hart Sr., a retired stationary engineer for the Philadelphia Water Department, died Saturday. He was 69 and lived in Cape May, N.J. Hart was a former resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.  

He is survived by his wife, the former Helen M. Townsend; five sons, Francis, M. Jr., Michael, Richard, Joseph and Kevin; three daughters, Helen Curran, Elizabeth Aquilante and Coleen Campbell; 40 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am tomorrow at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 236 Hermitage St. Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the the Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. There will be no viewing tonight.

Frank was the son of Alice Tinneny and Cornelius Hart of Philadelphia and the grandson of Patrick Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
