Lisa Tinneny, age
48, passed away suddenly at her home in the Bronx, New York on
February 11. 2012. She was the daughter of Philip and Eugenia
Tinneny. Lisa was born at Saint Mary’s Hospital in New York City on
Sep 3, 1963.

“STATEN
ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island native Lisa Tinneny, 48, a
homemaker, died Saturday at her Bronx home. An autopsy will
determine the cause of death.
Born in
Midland Beach, she graduated from New Dorp High School. She
relocated to the Bronx three years ago. The homemaker enjoyed
patronizing yard sales.“She was funny and outgoing,” said her
sister, Tammy Tinneny. Ms. Tinneny was a parishioner of St.
Margaret Mary R.C. Church, Midland Beach.
Her
daughter Serina Tinneny died in 1987 and her daughter Jenna
Tinneny died in 1991.
In
addition to her sister, Tammy, she is survived by her husband of
two years, Sajid Anawar; three sons, Brandon Tinneny, Robert
Nagengast and Anthony Thomas; two daughters, Shannon and Nicole
Tinneny; two brothers, Joseph and Philip Tinneny, and a
grandchild.
The
funeral will be Saturday from the Peter P. Dohanich Funeral
Home, Brooklyn, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary
Church. Arrangements include cremation.”
Lisa was the great
granddaughter of Robert Tinneny and his wife
Elizabeth Murphy of Killahurk, Carrigallen, County Leitrem, Ireland
and the granddaughter of
Philip Tinneny of Killahurk
and his wife Mary O’Sullivan.
