Linda
Hart, age 75, of Harleysville, passed away, Friday,
March 24, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late
Francis M. Hart Jr., with whom she shared over 41 years
of marriage. Born
August 17, 1947, in Sellersville, she was a daughter of
the late Carl and Edith (Quade) Lewis.
Linda
grew up in Hatfield throughout her childhood and into
adulthood with her mother and father and three siblings.
Linda was a graduate of North Penn High School’s
class of 1965. Linda had a few jobs as a young adult,
one of which was Simco Lift where she met the love of
her life, Francis M. Hart. Linda and Frank would go on
to marry in 1977 and welcomed their first child, Patrick
Hart, in 1978. Linda and Frank also welcomed sons Ryan
Hart, in 1980, and Jeff Hart in 1982.
Linda
and Frank were members of St. John’s
Lutheran Church in Green Lane, PA. Linda was a devoted
stay at home mother until 1985 when she became a nursery
school teaching assistant at Under the Rainbow Nursery
School where she continued to teach for 30+ years. Linda
was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Upper
Salford Fire Department for many years where Frank
served as a fireman. Linda was a dedicated sports mom
for many years while her children played sports for
several local sports teams. Linda loved reading,
traveling and history. Linda enjoyed many friends and
family get-togethers where she would enjoy playing card
games and indulge in birthday celebrations with her
closest friends. Linda was an avid gardener as she loved
the many plants and flowers inside and around her
house.
She is
survived by her children, Patrick Hart and his wife,
Sue, Ryan Hart and his wife, Jennifer, Jeffrey Hart and
his wife, Carol Krammer, and Deborah Baum and her
husband, Charles; grandchildren, Meghan, Addison,
Trinity, Christopher, Chase, Savanah, Nicole, Christine,
and C.J.; great grandchildren, Ava, Christopher, Jaxson,
and Olivia; siblings, David Lewis and his wife, Linda,
and Sandra Hespel; and brother-in-law, Ted Jensen. In
addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in
death by her sister, Carol Jensen; and brother-in-law,
Jim Hespel. She is also survived by numerous nieces,
nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service for Linda
will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday,
April 5, 2023, at St. John’s
Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Green
Lane, PA 18054, where the family will greet
guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will
be private.

Linda’s husband Francis was the son of Francis and Helen
Townsend Hart Sr. of North Cape May, New Jersey;
grandson of
Cornelius and
Alice Tinneny Hart Sr. of
Philadelphia and great-grandson of
Patrick
“Yankee Par” Tinneny
of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
