Marie E. Tinneny

1926 - 2023

Marie E. Tinneny (nee Zebrowski), 97 years old, entered into eternal life peacefully on December 8, 2023. Wife of the late Thomas Tinneny, to whom she was married for 50 years before his death in 1997. Beloved and devoted Mother of Eileen, Mary (Jerry) Reed, Geri (Bob) McGuckin, Barbara (John) Kopecki, Karen (Joe) Rippert Daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Opalach) Zebrowski. She will be missed by her 14 grandchildren, 32 plus one due in February 2024 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Frank, Leon, Edward, Aloysius, Carl Zebrowski and Jeanne Tatalajski.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing in Church Thursday, December 14, 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 119 Rector. (at Cresson St.) Manayunk, 19127. Int. Westminster Cemetery. Marie’s husband Thomas was the son of James J. and Gertrude A. Spence Tinneny of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
