OBITUARY
Elizabeth Anne Hart Aquilante
1943 - 2017
Elizabeth
Anne "Betty Anne" (nee Hart) Aquilante, age 74, passed
away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday,
December 8, 2017. Betty Anne was the daughter of the
late Francis and Helen (nee Townsend) Hart. She is
survived by her 16 children; Michele (Craig) Ritchie,
Anthony Jr., Colleen (Robert) Boselli, Gina (Alex)
Corridoni, Tina (Silvio) Correa, Joseph, Michael
(Staci), Denise, Daniel, Christopher (Tricia), Dianne
(John) Manza, Lisa (Joe) Marchozzi, Tricia (Mark)
D'Antonio, Kristen (Brian) Boyer, Angele (Jason) Hunt,
and Bethany; and 33 grandchildren. She was the sister of
Frank, Helen, Richard, Colleen, Kevin and the late
Michael & Joseph.
Betty Anne
graduated from Collegeville-Trappe High School in 1960.
She worked as a quality specialist at Producer's Pride
in Worcester, PA. She married her husband, Anthony, in
1965. Shortly thereafter, she dedicated her life to the
role of loving mother to their 16 children. While
supporting her husband as he grew the family catering
business, Gourmet Buffets, she took on the primary role
of caring for and raising their children. Through the
years, this included getting the children off to school,
ironing their school uniforms, making lunches, cooking
dinners, washing mountains of laundry, tending to them
when they were sick, helping with homework, and making
sure all of their needs were met.
As a devout
Roman Catholic, Betty Anne had a strong devotion to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
as well as a strong devotion to St. Padre Pio. Now a
cherished memory, every night she had a ritual of
blessing every child and her husband with her beloved
St. Padre Pio relic. In her free time, she enjoyed
visiting the Adoration Chapel at St. Isaac Jogues and
spending time with the nuns at Camilla Hall at
Immaculata.
She took
great pleasure in experiencing the gift of motherhood
again while enjoying the miracle of her children
becoming parents themselves. She loved having her
grandchildren around her and had an endless supply of
crafts and activities to do with them.
Relatives
and friends are invited to attend the viewing on
Wednesday, December 13, from 5-8 p.m. at St. Isaac
Jogues Roman Catholic Church, Wayne. A viewing will also
be held on Thursday, December 14, from 9-10 a.m.,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery, Phoenixville.
In lieu of
flowers, contributions can be made to St. Isaac Jogues,
50 W. Walker Rd, Wayne, PA 19087, in memory of Elizabeth
