OBITUARY
Francis M. Hart Jr.
1938 - 2018
Francis M. Hart Jr., age 79, of Harleysville, passed
away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday,
November 25, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Linda
(Lewis) Hart, with whom he shared over 41 years of
marriage. Born December 30, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was
a son of the late Francis, Sr. and Helen (Townsend)
Hart. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by
4 children; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4
siblings. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and
extended family. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral
service at 11AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St.
John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Green Lane, PA
18054, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 –
10:45 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions in Francis’s name may be made to
either St. John’s Lutheran Church, at the address above
or to Lifequest Nursing Center, 2450 John Fries Hwy,
Quakertown, PA 18951.
Francis was the grandson of
Alice Tinneny
and Cornelius Hart of Philadelphia and the
great-grandson of
Patrick
“Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff,
Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland;
Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and
his wife Margaret Malloy.
