OBITUARY

Michael F. Hart Sr.

 

1941 - 2013 

Michael F. Hart Sr., 72, of Royersford, formerly of Cedars and Roxborough, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Philadelphia, May 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Francis Hart Sr. and Helen M. (Townsend) Hart. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Wilkinson) Hart and his children, Michael F. Hart Jr. of Harleysville, and Patricia (Hart) Maleski and her husband, Charles of Chalfont, his step-children Tracy Pratzner, and her husband Michael, and Curt Wilkinson and his wife Denise. Eleven grandchildren Madison Hart, Austen Hart, Larson Hart, Kayla Maleski, Allison Maleski, Bradley Pratzner, Dylan Pratzner, Zachary Pratzner, Jordan Wilkinson, Tyler Wilkinson and Jack Wilkinson. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Francis Hart Jr. Helen (Hart) Wilson, Elizabeth (Hart) Aquilante , Richard Hart, Kevin Hart, Colleen (Hart) Ritchie, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph Hart.

Over the years, Mike enjoyed woodworking and tackling various handyman projects. He also enjoyed road trips traveling areas of the U.S., especially throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Services and burial are private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, 700 South Henderson Road, Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406. 

Michael was the grandson of Alice Tinneny and Cornelius Hart of Philadelphia and the great grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
