OBITUARY

Augustine J. Doruozio

1931 - 2001 

Augustine J. Doruozio, 70, of Hilltown Township, Bucks County, died Friday, Nov. 9, in Beverly Healthcare Center, Lansdale. He was the husband of Bernadette M. (Tinneny) Doruozio. They were married for 48 years last April. 

He was a machine operator for WESCO Industries, Lansdale, for 12 years before retiring in 1997. Previously, he was employed by FMC Corp., formerly Link-Belt, Colmar, Montgomery County, for 20 years. 

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Dominic and Clara (Keler) Doruozio.

He was a member of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, Bucks County.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a recipient of a Purple Heart medal. 

He was a member of Great Swamp Fish and Game, Quakertown. 

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Mary C. Martin, and son, John A., both of Hilltown; sister, Dorothy Maris of Fairborn, Ohio; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Augustine was the husband of Bernadette Tinneny the great granddaughter of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
