Mary Ann was the granddaughter of James J. and Gertrude A Spence Tinneny of Philadelphia and the great granddaughter of Patrick “ Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
