OBITUARY

Howard Joseph Cossabone Jr.

1930 - 2007

Howard J. "Pete" Cossabone, Jr., age 77, of Morrisville, died on May 7, 2007 at Frankford Hospital Bucks County Campus. 

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Cossabone was a long time resident of the Manayunk section of the city before moving to Morrisville ten years ago. He was employed with the Reading Railroad, Conrail and Amtrak for 33 years until retiring in 1990.

He was an Army veteran of Korea. Mr. Cossabone was a member of the V.F.W. #333 in Roxborough and the Odd Fellows in Bristol. He was very active with the Middletown Senior Citizens and was an avid Notre Dame fan. 

Mr. Cossabone is the beloved husband of 53 years to Fay Cossabone (nee Scriven). He is the loving father of Cecelia L. "Cindy" Kamm and her husband Robert G. of Bensalem; and is the devoted grandfather of David M. Kamm. He is also survived by two nephews. 

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on May 9 at St. Joseph the Worker Church followed by Rite of Committal in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Middletown Senior Citizens, 2140 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.

Howard was the son of Howard and Elizabeth Tinneny Cossabone of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the great grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
