Kathleen T. Leichter, age 79, of Bloomington, passed
away Monday morning at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice
House in Bloomington. Kathleen was born on December 6,
1934 in Philadelphia (Roxborough) PA, a daughter of
Cornelius and Kathleen McMonagle Hart.
Kathleen graduated from Roxborough High School. Kathleen
was a charter member of the Boys Club of Bloomington
Auxiliary. She also was a Pink Lady Volunteer at
Bloomington Hospital for over 25 years. Kathleen was a
co-founder of Cakes, Candies & Things.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Ronald D.
Leichter, whom she married September 6, 1958, daughter,
Mary Ann Leichter, Champaign, Illinois, son, John F. Leichter, Ellettsville, Indiana; two grandchildren,
Landon E. (Kayt) Leichter and Caitlin E. Leichter, both
of Spencer, Indiana; two brothers, Cornelius (Patricia)
Hart, Jr., Philadelphia and Francis (Kathy) Hart,
Ambler, Pennsylvania and one sister, Lorraine Hart, of
Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family visitation and funeral service will be
held. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, any memorial contributions could be made to the
Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington, P.O. Box 1716;
Bloomington, IN 47402 or to I.U. Health; Bloomington
Hospice, P.O. Box 1149; Bloomington, IN 47402. Deremiah-Frye
