Tierney, Dorothy Ann 87 (Oakland), passed away at
Cranbury Genesis Eldercare in Monroe Township, NJ on
Saturday, November 20, 2010. Dorothy was born on May
14th, 1923 in Coaldale, PA. Dorothy loved to write
letters, worked tirelessly mentoring young teenagers,
and devoted her life to sharing the Christian faith.
Dorothy lost the love of her life, Thomas Alfred Tierney
in 1967. The daughter of Paul and Mary Trimmel, Dorothy
is survived by her youngest sister Louise McDermott and
her four children Eileen Stolte, Paul, Thomas and James.
Viewings are scheduled on Tuesday, 11/23 from 2:00-4:00
and 7:00-9:00 at Oakland Memorial Home; 330 Ramapo
Valley Road. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30AM on
Wednesday, 11/24 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help; 117
Franklin Ave. Oakland, NJ. In lieu of flowers, you may
wish to donate to the American Cancer Society. |
