Diane is the daughter of Patricia Sickinger and
Albert Snyder and the great-granddaughter of Catherine Tinneny of
Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia. She completed her
bachelor of science in nursing degree, certified school nurse
credential and in 2003 was completing her master's degree in nursing
at Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. After
completing her nursing degree in 1987, Diane worked in the cardiac
unit of the Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
About 1999, she received her certification as a school nurse and
left the hospital to work as a school nurse in the West Chester,
Pennsylvania school district.
