Matthew “Matt” Tinneny has served as a member of the Blaney Fire Department, Elgin, South Carolina since June 2001. He remains extremely active with that department responding to fires, medical emergencies and traffic accidents in and around his community. Matt is the son of Richard J. Tinneny of Philadelphia and his wife Lee. M. Havens of Westhampton Beach, Long Island, New York and the great-great-grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland.
