Gregory Reed

Gregory is the son of Mary Patricia Tinneny and Gerard Reed of Philadelphia.  He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard following graduation from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia. After completing basic training November, 2007 at Cape May, New Jersey he was assigned aboard  the Coast Guard cutter  DECISIVE out of Pascagoula, Mississippi. As of April 2009 Greg remains in the Coast Guard and is assigned to the Coast Guard Training Center at Yorktown where he is attending electrician school. Greg is the great-great grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia. He is the grandson of Thomas and Marie Tinneny of Philadelphia.
