James Vincent Kennedy Jr.

James Vincent Kennedy Jr. Enlisted in
the United States Navy in 1968 and was honorably discharged
from active and inactive reserve duty as a third class petty
officer in 1973. He served two years active duty on two
mighty war ships, the first being the Guided Missile Cruiser
USS Columbus CG-12 and the other the Gearing Class Destroyer
USS Keppler DD-765. His primary duties were in ships
operation, CIC warfare, and administration. James is the son
of Alice
(Hart) and James Kennedy, the grandson of
Alice Tinneny and
Cornelius Hart and the great grandson of
Patrick “Yankee
Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, county
Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and
Philadelphia. James and his wife Teri live in San Clemente,
California.
