Alyson and Maddy Carter Visit South Carolina Tinnenys

Alyson and Maddy Carter from Halifax, Nova Scotia visited with Lee and Rich Tinneny and their family in Columbia, South Carolina for a week the end of February 2008.  This was the second visit of these Canadian cousins.  This trip, they went to the SC State House and saw the legislators in session and many lobbyists in action.  They also went to a local glass blower shop, Little Pigs Restaurant for Bar B Q, spent a day in Charleston and went to the little town of Blackville, SC.  Of course Rich & Lee had a big Bar B Q at their home with all of the children and grand children – there was much good food and fun.

Alyson is the daughter of Robert “Robbie Tinneny” of Carrigallen, County Leitrem Ireland.  She is married to John Carter of Halifax and has 3 other daughters Laura, Charlotte and Rose who were unable to make the trip.
