Charlotte is the daughter of Alyson and John Carter of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She and Ryan Pierce were married August 16, 2012 at the Citadel overlooking the city of Halifax. Charlotte is the great-granddaughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Murphy) Tinneny of Carrigallen, County Leitrem, Ireland.
