Joseph McDonald at Holy Family Catholic Church in the
Manayunk section of Philadelphia on September 29, 1956.
The sponsors at their wedding were Vera Brugger and the groom’s
brother Jim McDonald.
Joan was the granddaughter of John
and Mary Jane Tinneny McColgan of
Greenock, Scotland, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and
Pennsauken, New Jersey and the great-granddaughter
Patrick
"Yankee Pat" Tinneny
of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his
wife Margaret McAdam.
