Thomas Tinneny was the grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, County Fermanagh, Ireland and the son of James J. Tinneny Sr. and Gertrude Spence of Philadelphia.  Tom and Marie were married May 17, 1947 at Saint Josaphat’s Catholic Church in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.  The sponsors for their wedding were Tom’s brother Joe Tinneny and Julie Falcone a friend of Marie’s.
