Joseph Tinneny married Gina Sicuranza, the daughter of Patricia (Quinn) and Ralph Sicuranza, February 14, 1988. They were married at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, New Dorp, Staten Island, New York. Both Joe and Gina were raised on Staten Island. Joe is the great grandson of Robert and Elizabeth (Murphy) Tinneny of Killahurk, Carrigallen, County Leitrem, Ireland and New York and the grandson of Philip Tinneny and and his wife Mary O'Sullivan who established the Tinneny branch of the family in New York.
