Francis Tinneny,
son of James and Mary Agnes Kenrick Tinneny of Roslea,
Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and Auckland, New
Zealand, received the sacrament of Confirmation at Saint
Tierney’s Catholic Church in Roslea on May 10, 1971. He
and his sister Bernadette were confirmed by Bishop
Mulligan in the same ceremony. Francis took James as
his Confirmation name.
Francis is the
grandson of
Francis and Margaret Coleman Tinneny of Roslea;
great-grandson of Francis and Annie Dolan Tinneny of
Belturbet Co. Cavan, Ireland and great-great-grandson of
Francis and
Ann Elliott Tinneny of Belturbet.
