C. Masterson of Mahopac.
|
It is
with immense sadness we announce the passing of
Ann Catherine Masterson, age 85, on May 17,
2020. Ann
was born on January 31, 1935 in New York City to
Francis and Catherine (Reilly) Tierney.
Ann
married the love of her life, Robert Masterson
on November 16, 1958 in Bronx, NY. They
were blessed with four wonderful children.
Ann
was a homemaker, yet worked hard to provide for her four
children, Scott, Diane, Susan and Jeanne. Family was the
most important thing to her; she took tremendous pride
in taking care of her family.
She enjoyed
nothing more than spending time with her children and
four remarkable grandchildren.
Ann and her
husband, Robert, also loved vacationing at Cape Cod as
well as Myrtle Beach where they both enjoyed reading and
relaxing on the beach, as much they loved boating and
fishing on the Long Island Sound. |
Faith
was very important to Ann and she was an active member
of Our Lady of Angels Church in the Bronx as well as St.
John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac, NY.
Ann will be
missed by all who were lucky enough to have known and
loved her.
Ann is
survived by her three beloved children, Scott Masterson
and wife, Shelly, Susan Masterson and Jeanne Masterson
Piekutowski and husband, Steven.
She is also
survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Kate Aber,
Christopher Aber, Brian Piekutowski and Matthew
Piekutowski.
Sadly, Ann is
predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Robert, who
passed in 2008 and her amazing daughter, Diane Aber, who
passed in February 2016.
A
limited private graveside ceremony with Prayers and a
Blessing for immediate family only, will take place on
May 22, 2020, at her final resting place at the Gate of
Heaven Cemetery-Hawthorne, NY. A
Memorial Mass to celebrate Ann's life will be held at
St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac, NY. at a date
to be determined sometime in the future.
Ann will truly
be greatly missed. The
family would like to thank everyone for their
understanding during this difficult time. In
