Bob was born and raised in his dad’s bakery in the
Wissinoming section of Northeast Philadelphia. As a
youngster, he loved playing and watching baseball.
Known as Bobby Kamm, he and his friends made many trips
to Shibe Park later known as Connie Mack Stadium to
watch the Phillies play. He attended St. Bart’s
Elementary School and graduated from Father Judge High
School in 1966. He boxed and played basketball as
well. |

Bob Kamm and Cindy Cossabone were married on June 13,
1981. During their first nine years of marriage, they
bowled, played golf and went to the Jersey shore. Then,
they decided they wanted a baby. It was Bob’s wish to
have a son who loved sports. His prayers were answered
after David was born in July 1990. Bob took good care of
David when he was a baby and toddler, and later on
helped coaching him in various sports.
He took great pride in his work. And as a Mechanical
Designer for over 40 years, he designed all sorts of
manufacturing equipment. When he retired at 62, he
became a driver for an assisted living facility in
Bensalem, PA.
Bob’s devotion to God has been an inspiration to his
family. We will always remember him for his
unconditional love, protection and guidance throughout
life. |
