The Harvey siblings from in and around
Helensburgh, Scotland got together during the visit home
of their sister Aileen Harvey Ducket. Aileen, who had
immigrated to Canada had not returned to Helensburgh for
several years. During her visit the brothers and sisters
enjoyed time together including a September 20th, 2022
trip to the town of Oban one the west cost of Scotland.
The photo above was taken near the ferry terminal
located in the town which serves the islands of Mull,
Iona, Lismore and other small islands off the coast.
The Harveys are the children of John and
Elizabeth Tinnany Harvey of Helensburgh; grandchildren
of
Patrick Tinnany of Belturbet Co. Cavan, Ireland and
Sarah Sweeney of Helensburgh; great-grandchildren of
Robert and Bridget Rooney Tinneny of Belturbet and
great-great-grandchildren of
Francis
Tinneny and Ann Elliott of Belturbet.
Note: Unlike his parents and siblings who
used the traditional spelling of the Tinneny family name
Patrick and his descendants spelled it Tinnany.
