John Harvey and Grace Mccrea

John Harvey, the son of John and Elizabeth Tinnany Harvey of Helensburgh, Scotland, married Grace Mccrea May 15, 1999 in the Helensburgh Registrar Office. The wedding reception was held at the Commodore Hotel, Helensburgh followed by “party time” in John’s words at the Drumfork Social club.

John is the grandson of Patrick Tinnany of Belturbet Co. Cavan, Ireland and Sarah Sweeney of Helensburgh; great-grandchildren of Robert and Bridget Rooney Tinneny of Belturbet  and great-great-son of Francis Tinneny and Ann Elliott of Belturbet. 

Note: Regarding the surname of John’s grandfather Patrick. Unlike his parents and siblings who used the traditional spelling of the Tinneny family name he spelled it Tinnany and thus his descendants are known by that variant of the name.
