John
Paul Tinneny, the son of
Jim and Jess
Tinneny, of Berwyn, Pennsylvania
was selected a National
Merit Semifinalist in the National
Merit Corporation competition. This
accomplishment is
achieved by less than 1 percent of the nation's high
school graduating seniors.
John is a senior at Conestoga High School, Berwyn, Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.
The selection is
based on the student’s performance on the Primary SAT/
National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. John Paul
and the other academically talented seniors will go on
to compete for 7,600 scholarships through the National
Merit Corporation or its Sponsoring Organizations. In
addition to his exceptional academic accomplishments
John has been actively involved in the school’s athletic
and other programs. John and his family were recognized
for his accomplishments at the
Tredyffrin/Easttown School DistrictT/E School
Board Meeting September
23, 2024.

Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy.
