Steve Steele

Steven “Steve“ Steele of Edmond, Oklahoma is a former professional golfer and still enjoys playing high level amateur golf events. He is a long time board member of Kickingbird Golf Club and recently became a "lifetime member" at Rose Creek Golf Club both located in Edmond. In 2022, Steve became a Golf Columnist for Edmond Life and Leisure Magazine and enjoys writing a weekly golf column.  

After finishing 2nd at KickingBird Golf Club Championship Competitions for the past 17 years, he finally managed to win first place in the Mens 60+ Championship at Rose Creek Golf Club June 13th - 14th, 2026. The trophy was a cutting board. In a resent video he commented “Now if anyone needs some cheese and crackers served on a championship cutting board... I know a guy.”  Steve said it was a fun couple of days with a lot of good friends and good golf.

Steve is the son of John and Linda Rae Hathaway Steele; grandson of Walter and Catharine McColgan Hagenbucher of Philadelphia; great-grandson of John and Mary Jane Tinneny McColgan of Greenock, Scotland and Pennsauken, New Jersey and the great-great-grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, and his wife Margaret Malloy.
