Jennifer Johnston Chester, of Voorhees, New Jersey,
participated in the “Independence Blue Cross Broad
Street Run” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania May 4, 2025.
The
Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run is a 10-mile,
point-to-point course. It’s named one of the fastest
10-mile courses in the country by Runner’s
World Magazine. It takes the participants through the
varied neighborhoods of Philadelphia along Broad Street
and finishes at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Shannon and Jennifer are the
daughters of Peter and Michele Tinneny
Johnston Sr. of Cherry Hill, New Jersey;
granddaughters of John and Helen Diamond Tinneny of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;
great-granddaughters of James
and Gertrude Spence Tinneny Sr.
of Philadelphia and
great-great-granddaughters of Patrick “Yankee
Pat” Tinneny of
Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh,
Northern Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and
Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
