Michael graduated June 8, 2007 from Roman Catholic High School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He plans to enroll in Delaware Valley Community College.  Michael is the son of Michael and Kimberly Long of the Manayunk section of Philadelphia and the grandson of Maryann Tinneny and Silvio Long.  He is the great-great-great grandson of Yankee Pat Tinneny of Goladuff, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia, Pa.
