Clare (Tinneny) Kelly,
a home-maker, died yesterday at her daughter's home in
Pottstown. She was 84.
Mrs. Kelly had lived
in Lafayette Hill since 1950 and was formerly of
Conshohocken.
She was a member of
St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, Lafayette Hill.
Born Oct. 23, 1913, in
Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James J.
and Gertrude (Spence) Tinneny.
She was preceded in
death by her husband, John J. Kelly Sr.
Surviving are three
sons, John J. Jr. of West Conshohocken, James D. of
Phoenixville and Joseph J. of Lafayette Hill; three
daughters, Mary Whalen of West Chester, Clare Gebhardt
of Conshohocken and Patricia Guarino of Pottstown; 14
grandchildren; a brother, Donald of the Manayunk section
of Philadelphia; and two sisters. Mary Haughey of the
Roxborough section of Philadelphia and Gertrude
Gallagher of the city's Andorra section.
Funeral Mass will be
celebrated 10:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Philip Neri R.C.
Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Interment will
be in Whitemarsh
Memorial Park,
Prospectville.
Friends may call from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the
church.

of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern
Ireland; Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Malloy. |
