On
October 2nd, 2025, Dennis “Denny”
Michael Flynn, Sr., beloved husband of the late Margaret
"Peggy" Flynn (nee Holtzman), devoted father of Lisa Anne
Flynn, Patricia Leigh Flynn, and Dennis Michael Flynn, Jr.,
and Suzanne Elizabeth Fisher, dear brother of Elizabeth
Benton, Deborah Chenoweth, and the late Brian McColgan.
Grandfather of Matthew Edward Flynn, Logan Elizabeth Kruhm,
Alex Ryan Flynn, Rylie Paige Kruhm, Sean Michael Flynn, and
Delaney Grace Kruhm.
Denny was
proud of the years he spent as an analyst at NSA, though he
always maintained he “couldn’t
talk about” any details of his work. He was an avid boater
on his beloved multi-hull sailboat Fenian. He enjoyed
spending time with his friends and playing in softball
leagues. He was always up for a debate on things he was
passionate about and would rarely acquiesce any position he
held.
The
family will receive friends on Friday, October 10th, 2025,
4-7PM at the family-owned Ruck-Towson Funeral Home, Inc.,
1050 York Road (beltway exit 26).

Denny was
the stepson of Edward
McColgan, who was the son off John
and Mary Jane Tinneny McColgan of Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and Pennsauken, New Jersey and grandson of Patrick
“Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County
Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and
Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
