Joe served in the United States Marine Corps. He is
the son of Joseph and Mary Knoll Tinneny of
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the grandson of John
Tinneny and Alice McCouch and the great-grandson of
Patrick
“Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler,
County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland; Greenock,
Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret
Malloy.
