James J. Tinneny Jr. son of James J and Gertrude Spence Tinneny, Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, married Margaret Cecilia Casey September 7, 1932. They were married at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.

James was the grandson of Patrick “Yankee Pat” Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Greenock, Scotland and Philadelphia and his wife Margaret Malloy.
