Nicola Cudby Burns of
Helensburg, Scotland
received her Registered General Nurse (RGN) degree in
1989 from the Royal Alexandria College of Nursing in
Paisley, Scotland. Following graduation she worked as a
scrub nurse in general surgery, as an on call emergency
nurse and as a staff nurse in a nursing home. After 10
years in general nursing she pursued additional
university training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
then worked in public health/addiction until 2013.
Nicola is the daughter of Nicholas and
Muriel Tinnany Cudby of Helensburg, Scotland;
granddaughter of Margaret Tinnany of Helensburg;
great-granddaughter of
Patrick and Sarah Sweeney Tinnany; great-great
granddaughter of Robert and Bridget Rooney Tinneny of
Belturbet, Co. Cavan, Ireland;
great-great-great-granddaughter of
Francis and
Ann Elliott of Belturbet and
great-great-great-great-granddaughter of
Thomas
Tinneny of Goladuff, Newtownbutler, Co, Fermanagh,
Northern Ireland.
